This “Unpacking TempleFest” is a bit personal. As I said in my last blog, I meditated with YoKuTu, the spirit that watches over the Virgo ministry in our Temple, to check in with what I should offer. I went into this meditation thinking I would only get things for my ministry. In meditation I went to the cottage filled with herbs that I see as the home of this spirit to ask my questions. They told me I needed to help people get over their fear of psychic readings by hosting an event that was like speed dating, where people could give a five minute reading and then switch to either get a reading or move on to a new partner. When I replied it was not in my ministry they made very clear I just needed to ask my good friend the Pisces minister to do it with me. She also told me there was need for a lot of healing lately and I should do a calling the healers ritual for my ministry. Other details followed that I will not list here, but then it is unsurprising the Virgo spirit would give lots of details.
I called Matooka and we put together our proposal, which was accepted by the TempleFest crew. Really surprisingly it was the only one accepted that Matooka offered. I felt really weird that all of mine had been accepted. As I have said in a past blog, I thought some of them would be rejected.
We taught the class to four people, one of whom had just walked in because it was close to the event she was doing next. Even with this low attendance everyone who came really enjoyed the quick readings and speed dating like practice for their psychic skills. Yet I was a little disappointed with the turnout. As everyone was reading, I turned to Matooka to talk about it and that is when she dropped the awareness bomb on me. Even with its low turnout the event served a greater purpose. Matooka got to have the presenter price for the event because we had done this class together and if she had not had that presenter discount she wouldn’t have been able to come. The big realization for me was that through listening to spirit and following its guidance I got to unknowingly arrange the circumstances for my good friend to be able to come to TempleFest. A lot of psychic influencers will tell you about the benefits of following your intuitive guidance, but I feel like it is not said enough that following it can also put you in the right place at the right time to help others. I am so grateful she shared this story with me.
