Unpacking TempleFest: Bullet Journals and On-the-Fly Intuitive Coaching

At TempleFest I got the delight of sharing my love of the Bullet Journal Method with my class the Witches’ Bullet Journal. It was a class I taught many years ago online during the pandemic that was extremely popular. It was such a great time to return to the slides and information I had gathered for the class and get to share one of my weird passions with my people.

I got some great feedback from the class. I even had someone who is on my Patreon come up to me and tell me how much they enjoyed my video about my current bullet journal. That she in particular would like to see more of that content because she finds it so inspiring. I also had a few people comment how beautiful my journals come out, which made me blush a bit because my upbringing didn’t really train me for accepting compliments. I always think of my English teacher in high school telling me all you have to do is say thanks, which is a great strategy, but it still makes me nervous.

I had a good turnout and it looked like a lot of people were very engaged, both with the subject and what ideas I had about how one could use the bullet journal method in witchcraft. One person told me they didn’t see the point of bullet journaling but their wife pressured them into coming and now they were totally inspired to do it. Looking at my old slides I knew I would also have to update them before I teach it again at the Sacred Space Conference in March.

After all was said and done, I had a person with a more personal question come up to me after the class. She gave me a word salad of what was going on with her, like she was doing a brain dump in her bullet journal. After a few moments of clearing out the pipes, she got to the question she had been struggling with around whether or not to go on in the Temple’s Mystery School. She had already told me about some of the things she was working on both professionally and for her higher learning. I took a deep breath and asked my intuitive guidance to help me give advice to her. What I came up with in that moment was that she needed to be able to prove to herself she could manage all of it. So since the class she wanted to take wasn’t until March, I told her to make a list of the things she would like to accomplish in the other areas of her life before January. The things she needed to prove to herself that she could handle the other things in her life before she added more, to release her fear over it. It also would act as a sign: if she made her goals, then she could definitely handle it and if she fell short it may mean it is time to wait. She thanked me for the insight and the class and went on her way.

It wasn’t until way after that I realized I had done an intuitive coaching session with her without even thinking about it,  and I need to make the changes to my website so I can start helping people this way more often.

P.S. Here is a link to the bullet journal content my follower was talking about on Patreon.
